JUDE AND THE EXTRAORDINARY, SPECTACULAR, MIRACULOUS DAY

“One of the greatest gifts a children’s book can offer is to spark curiosity about God’s word―and Jessica Bush’s Jude and the Extraordinary, Spectacular, Miraculous Day beautifully accomplishes this for young readers. With imaginative storytelling and vivid illustrations, Bush invites young readers into the miracle of the feeding of the five thousand through the eyes of the boy who shared his loaves and fish. This delightful retelling points little hearts to Jesus and inspires them to explore Scripture for themselves.”

Follow a boy named Jude―who portrays the real-life child from Scripture―as his day goes from predictable to extraordinary. On his way to the sea to watch the fishermen, he encounters Jesus and witnesses a miracle that will change his life forever. Written and illustrated by artist Jessica Dennis Bush, this imaginative retelling helps children step inside the Bible story to learn about Jesus’s teachings, what it means to follow Christ, and how God can use our “not enough” for his wise purposes.
